Overview

Netherlands is a country in the northwest of Europe sharing border with Germany, Belgium, and the North Sea. The country is also known by the name of Holland. The Dutch (citizens of Netherlands) are a culturally liberal and open-minded people. The contemporary Dutch financial system is prominent for being open, prosperous, closely structured upon foreign exchange and trade, a vital European transportation hub, and having a fairly mechanized agricultural business. The port of Rotterdam is the most important and most up to date port in the Region. The average total cost of living for a month is expected to be between €750 and €1,000, including €280–€600 of accommodation, €240 for food, books/stationery €70 and other €270. In addition, the transport cost is reasonable too as the most common and inexpensive mode of transportation is bicycle.
Although it is a non-English-speaking country, but since 1950 Netherlands is the first non-English speaking country to offer study programs conducted in English. Large number of courses and programs are taught in English. International students from Pakistan being non–EU are required to have a valid permit and aim to study. Students may be able to obtain discounts on some purchases if they have an international student card. Costs may differ according to the type of accommodation, transport, and financial situation of a student. Types of accommodation offered include on-campus; staying with a family or renting/sharing a flat. Higher education tuition fees e between charged are €6,500–€32,000 annually for non-EU international students depending on the course and level of study.

Netherlands Admission & Student Visa Process

Step 1: Meet our trained counselors

Step 2: Register with Times Consultant

Submit all required documents as per admission checklist and register with AVENUE to start your admission process.

Step 3: Apply for admission

Finalize your study options regarding to course and university carefully. We may submit you admission applications to multiple universities to increase more chances for your admission. For most universities there is no application fee or IELTS/TOEFL compulsion. After submission of application we will keep tracking the applications status by keeping in contact with the institution on your behalf and will regularly update you.

Step 4: Receive an Offer Letter

At this point we will receive your admission notification which we well forward to you. Now fulfill any condition of admission to obtain unconditional admission letter. Universities give certain time to accept or reject admission so your quick response is mandatory.

Step 5: Pay Tuition fee

To accept your offer from an education provider, you may be asked to pay fee to confirm your study place. Most reliable payment method is paying through either Telegraphic Transfer (TT) but it can also be paid through Direct Debit (DD). Fee is paid directly to the university.

Step 6: Issuance of Unconditional Visa Letter

Upon receiving fee university will issue you with the Letter of Enrollment , proof of accommodation & letter regarding declaration of value. Now it is time for you to come back into your closest branch and bring your required documents so we may guide you for your visa application.

Step 7: Apply for Entry Pass and Residence Permit

University will apply for Entry Visas and Residence Permits on behalf of you before you travel to Netherlands. University will give detail about required documents and proofs of financial meaning. Upon submission of documents to university it will be forwarded to the Dutch Immigration and Naturalization (IND) for approval.

Step 8: Issuance of Entry Visa

Once your application to obtain entry visa is approved you will be notified in email, allowing you direct entry into Netherlands. You will however collect entry visa from nearest consulate. Short interview may be conducted too see your motivation. Upon issuance of student pass you can start planning to study and to arrange accommodation in Netherlands.

Step 9: Residence Permit

You can now come to Netherlands and the Immigration Officer will send the application to the Dutch Immigration & Naturalization Service (‘IND’) on your behalf. Your Residence Permit will be ready soon after your arrival in the Netherlands.
